Location

Our market days take place from 8am-11am on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 274 Myrtle Avenue, Boonton, NJ 07005. We are unit 274A. Below is a picture of the building with our garage circled.

Ordering on Rooted Farmers

Click HERE to create an account with Rooted Farmers to shop with us. After your account is approved, find us HERE or under “Sellers”, “Find Nearby Sellers”, and click Request Connection. Once we have connected, you will be able to purchase our Buyer’s Pass to begin shopping with us.


Emails

Please always check your Spam or Gmail “Promotions” folder!

We use Mailchimp to send all co-op emails. The emails will be sent from our Market Manager, bridget@gardenstateflowercoop.com so search using this email address.

Make sure to mark emails as Not Spam. It might be wise to also consider Mark As Important if using Gmail and add bridget@gardenstateflowercoop.com to your Contacts to ensure you receive our weekly email reminders.

Reminders will be sent when pre-orders open and before the preorder window closes.


Weekly Schedule

Tuesdays and Thursdays 8am - 11am - Market Day. Pick up your preorder and/or come shop the market floor.

DAY at TIME - DAY at TIME - Ordering window for Tuesday pick-up.

Preorder Policy, Handling Fee

All purchases (pre-orders + market floor items) incur a 5% handling fee (charged to the buyer) and a 25% commission (charged to the grower) to cover operating expenses incurred by the GSFC.

Once preorders are finalized on Rooted, your preorder is FINAL and you will be responsible for paying for all of the items in your preorder. You cannot change or cancel once the preorder is finalized. All items are paid for via Square on market days (no payment is taken through the Rooted Farmers site). If for some reason you are unable to come pick up your preordered items on market day, you will still be responsible for the payment for your preordered items.
Preordered items may be rejected only in the event that they arrive not as described (i.e. variety, color or stem length differs from description in the pre-order system). Preorder items should be thoroughly examined upon pick up and any quality issues should be reported to the Market Manager before departing. If you have a quality issue to report after departing the market, it must be reported via email to the Market Manager at bridget@gardenstateflowercoop.com with a description of the issue and photos within 24-48 hours of pick up. The Market Manager will notify the grower who the product in question was from and we will notify you of a resolution or refund within five (5) business days.

We assume that if you are purchasing flowers from the GSFC that you are a professional with a foundation of knowledge on flower handling and processing and have a floral cooler or some form of appropriate cold storage for flowers purchased. If we have reason to believe this is not the case, we are not responsible for quality issues once you depart the coop with your preorder and market floor purchases.


Payment/CC on File

This season we will require all buyers to keep a CC on file. During your first visit on market days, we will set up a customer account in Square and add a CC on file as you checkout. You will have the option to use the CC on file or you may use a different card or pay with a check at checkout every week.

We do not accept payment via cash unless it is exact change.


Buckets

The Garden State Flower Cooperative does not supply buckets for purchased flowers. Buyers must bring their own buckets or bring stems home dry. If you need to take your purchased product in a bucket, you can purchase a bucket from the coop for $10.
